Penguin Abducted by Mysterious Portal

Penguins across Antarctica were shocked today as a mysterious portal opened up over Shackleton Colony and sucked up one of their members.

The penguin was subsequently spotted by human news corporations in great distress as explosives rained down from a portal hovering over them.

In related news, Count Portalis's patent application for "Interdimensional Munitions Delivery" was recently rejected for being "ungrounded in scientific reality". Could the spurned Count be behind this?

My (solo) submission for the 2026 GMTK Game Jam. Making an 8-player bomberman clone for one of my birthday parties got me into game development, so I couldn't resist making another one... with a bit of a twist.
